Captain Ernest C. Threadgill III '73, USMC

Recognized as the first commanding officer of Company N-1, tying the modern Knights record back to the outfit's original 1972 line.

Historic Commission

Major Michael R. Fonteno '76, USMC

Recognized as the first commissioned African American Marine Officer from Texas A&M NROTC.

Corps Leadership

Colonel Bryon Stebbins '78, USMC

Served as Interim Commandant of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets from 2021 to 2022.
